Hey! He wasn't always a villain. You make him sound like Ajit.

Interesting facts:

It was in Simla that he landed his very first role as an actor, albeit on stage with Madan Puri, and played the role of Sita in 'Ramleela'. He went to star in a Punjabi movie 'Yamla Jat' as a villain. Ironically his foray into Hindi movies started as a hero in 'Khandaan' opposite actress Noor Jehan.

For the 1978 film Don, Amitabh Bachchan was paid Rs 2.5 lakh while Pran was paid Rs 7.5 lakh.

Really a sad news to the Bollywood movie fans.
Pran was a great actor. Many Hindi movies were successful because of his superb acting as a villain in them, which usually brought the best in actors playing as heroes opposite him and even made them quite popular with fans and critics. May he Rest In Peace.
