Is human just another animal, in its Kingdom? Empty Is human just another animal, in its Kingdom?

Post by TruthSeeker Wed Aug 07, 2013 11:55 pm

It IS possible, that a human being is nothing but another form of life, in animal kingdom.

No different than a deer, a lion, a rabbit, or a mosquito. Or even a plant.

Simply, one of gazillion life form.

Just, with most intelligence.

Or, do the teachings of ANY religion - Hinduism, Islam, Christianity - make any sense at all, when they try to JUSTIFY it all by taking it to after-birth, before-birth?

At the end of the day - What matters, and what is A FACT for ANYONE - is THIS life.

Are ALL these religions BOGUS?

If not, how come they don't focus as much on PRESENT life, than before/after of it?

I find it amusing that all these religions focus on Sins, Past life/actions, What WILL happen in next, or Heaven and Hell - SO MUCH - That ALL have forgotten to DEFINE the PRESENT in detail?

I am human, and I am not yet sure if I should be any prouder than the tomato plant in my backyard,

Yes.

Do you want to be? It is not like you earned "being human" in any way; that just happened. I am sure you have other things to be more proud of, things that you have accomplished.

@Idefix -

1. Thanks for sharing your decisive thoughts. Its rare on such topics.

2. I think the fundamental dilemma of any human life is #3 below - Do you live it for your own happiness, or do you live it for others, sacrificing yours?

3. Why? (to Q#2 above)

TIA,
TS.

I live life for my own happiness. Making people who you love happy can be one of the ways of achieving that happiness for yourself. When I do try to make other people happy, I *try* to remember that I am still doing it for my own happiness's sake, because it makes me happy to do things for them.

@Idefix - Agreed. But then what when we reach a point when our own happiness is in someone else's control, because we chose to let go of our own self, for them? Love fkks all rationale, doesn't it? It makes you reach a point where you convincingly claim - Fkk my happiness! The point is - Life aint that simple.

Religion is all bogus and so is self happiness. True happiness is earned by making loved ones happy….if a sacrifice makes a person happy that is great, but when someone is forced to make a sacrifice – it is more of bending backwards or letting the other person walk all over something like that.

Imagine the globe as a life -womb and all living forms (including humans) as its living children and all our heart beats at the same time and the rhythm of life it creates and if you can tune in into the rhythm and feel the happiness and spread it …wonderful!

Sigh! I am getting very creative these days

@Nila - Well, yes - Money cannot buy happiness, providing happiness to self alone cannot provide it either. So, true happiness does come by making others happier. But thats a digression from what my original post asked - It questioned existence, religions, and the whole of animal kingdom. Its not about being creative, or imaginative, but about whats real. Or is reality an abstract form of art?

Thanks for your reply,
TS.
