Dali was approached by a man once who complained to him that a number of unknown and amateurish artists were forging his name on their own creations before selling them to the unsuspecting public. 

Upon hearing this, Dali took out several blank pages from his bag, signed his name at the bottom of each one, handed them to the man and said, "Go and give them to these guys.  No need for them to forge my name."
