I mean not to just post here, but you do realize that one day I will die.

And so will you.

Today, we face deaths of our aunts, uncles, perhaps parents - but one day...we will too.

Life is not forever.

Perhaps, we need to learn. Including myself.

Regards,
TS.

watching the video and the related ones of those kapoors rapidly accelerates the inevitability.

and most have to get old before dying. I was watching some film awards show recently and was shocked to see Rekha. The signs of aging are showing clearly. I am sure she must've done everything possible in the world to hold on to her youthful looks, but nothing seemed to have held up for long. Age is giving in. So yeah, everything is fleeting. Make the most of everything you have now and enjoy life!

Life can not, and should not be lived as if its for forever.

A person must think - as to how many years one has to live - 30, 40, 50 years from now?

Of course, young wont think, but every 40+ year old has to get a life insurance, for their growing kids/spouse.

Makeup, Botox, or Hair color, are merely process.

Ultimately - life is finite.

So, once one has accepted that this life is finite, then what?

That's when real life starts to play.

TS.

@bw - It is NOT a question of "knowledge".

Everyone KNOWS they will die.

It is rather a question of "Awareness".

None is AWARE of it, in how they live their life.

Knowledge, Intelligence, Awareness, and Wisdom are distinctly different qualities.

One who has read most books, can answer any question in a Quiz competition, may still have no idea about being aware or wise.

random clarifications,
TS.

I know the feeling you're talking about TS in your OP.
recently a friend of mine passed away. One day she's sending jokes in whatsapp, next day we hear she's no more. Last seen on whatsapp Friday 10:30 pm.

It's such a weird feeling.

Hmm. I think I am thick skinned when it comes to death.

I create some kind of "shield" around me, whenever I face learn of death.

And cry silently, for a very long time, till I erupt somewhere, whenever.

But when it happens....I just go in my own "zone".

I dont deal with deaths normally, because it seems that my emotions just detach, to appear later.

We all will die one day,
TS.

TS, don't you think it is more important to be "aware" that one is alive and make the most of it?

for instance, i have to make sure i get the bread correct when i "live" and not give up on it saying "i am going to die anyway". one must live to the fullest and eating fresh, good sourdough bread enhances that experience.

random musings.

nazim hikmet's poem says it well.

So much videos to watch, SG, Mooji and my own guruji has started to put his videos (disciples are working on it) as he is getting ready to leave! So little time to watch as I have been very busy with some very interesting life experiences (not sure how to put it)  Smile.
