dang, his superbowl performance was the best I've seen in 23 yrs. it was surreal, with the rain accentuating his showmanship...true multi-faceted talent that's way underrated on the guitar.

was just talking to the kids. older said she has heard of his song names but never seen any. son said he has. 

and i began telling them my vivid memories of the songs from purple rain (guess i was 11ish). 

and then it hit me. 

prince is probably the first semi nude guy i ever saw in my life. 

Shocked

edit: i think there were fleeting scenes of James Bond's butt before that, but this was the one that made me sit up and notice. guess the way it was shot. or maybe my age.

Years back saw him perform in Chicago. Truly electrifying. And to see him dance wearing those pointed high heels was something. A fat lady would strike oil in those. Another great musician gone. May he rest in peace.
