Why is this hatred for President Trump? Empty Why is this hatred for President Trump?

Why do some people on CH hate President Trump so much? Is it because:

a. Bitter that a candidate they so ridiculed became President?
b. Their fragile egos are hurt that their smug predictions proved to be utterly wrong?
c. They are butt hurt that their premature congratulatory high fives were for naught?

I have no problems empathizing with a McCain or Romney supporter losing an election and wondering about the identity of America, but this is something I can NEVER wrap my head around, only because it is so contradictory to O.Leper's behavior before and after the election:

“We are jumping up and down saying, finally we got someone in there who is rooting for the everyday, hard-working American,” said Steve Bentley, a retired man I met in a Lowes hardware store in Elizabethton, Tennessee, recently.

I don't think he is rooting for everyday hard-working Americans. He is rooting for himself. Look at what he is doing right now -- there is a healthcare bill that his party is trying to pass and he is tweeting about Mika and Joe's intellect and face lifts. I have never felt so much personal loathing for another human being and I don't like myself very much for feeling the way I do about O.Leper.

Answer to the OP -- it's really simple really. The hatred and cruelty in the narrative about him is simply a response to his own hatred and cruelty.
