is a referendum the best way to take important decisions when the common man has no idea what he is voting for?

also, some reports suggest that some people voted for brexit, just to vent their frustrations fully believing the reports that brexit will fail. now they are regretting it.

What the Brexit shows is that idiots (Drumpfians) speak with British accents too. This is a pointless self-goal. They're just an irrelevant little has been island with unwarranted notions of grandeur without the EU.

They don't need a PM anymore. Boris Johnson can be the mayor of little Britain with assorted hooligans like Farage to keep him political company. I hope he's happy.

The UK always had special exemptions even with in the EU. Switzerland has done fine without being part of bloc. Right now this is more about perception. London will continue to be the financial capital of the world. The UK still is one of the wealthiest and most powerful countries. Of course Indian companies will be hurt in the short term.
