Jehovah's Witnesses have an interesting attitude towards the National Flag of their mother country; they refuse to pay obeisance to it.

But one wonders whether this attitude towards the national flag was also the attitude of the early leaders of this organization like Charles Russel and Joseph Rutherford. A lot of the dogmas of this organization have changed dramatically with the passage of time. For instance, the dogma related to blood transfusions was not accepted by either Russel or Rutherford but by the later leader Nathan Knorr.

Everyone in the family talked about it with pride back then. I couldn't agree with that at the time and was very mad at the judge. I appreciate it much now. Hats off to such a landmark judgment.
