‘I’m glad he got shot’: Nebraska Democrat caught on tape criticizing Rep. Steve Scalise Empty ‘I’m glad he got shot’: Nebraska Democrat caught on tape criticizing Rep. Steve Scalise

I wouldn't be shocked if a certain Such'er harbors similar thoughts - albeit in a gentler, "may nature emit sweet smelling toxic fumes to take him away" kind of way.

A Nebraska Democratic official has been removed from his chairman post after recordings emerged in which he said he was glad that House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) was shot and that he wished he had died. In the recording, Phil Montag, who was the volunteer co-chairman of the Nebraska Democratic Party’s technology committee, criticized Scalise by saying “his whole job is to … convince Republicans to (expletive) kick people off (expletive) health care.” “I’m glad he got shot. … I wish he was (expletive) dead.”

I am really glad Democrats remove people from their party positions for saying horrible things like this. They don't tolerate this kind of shit even from their volunteers.

Meanwhile, just today a man who advocated shooting Hillary Clinton was at the White House. Senior GOP leaders, including senators and president, can get away with inciting violence. Why? Because you let them do it; you Republicans don't really give a shit about violence. You only dislike violence against Republicans.

See, this is what I mean... you had something snide to say about the Democrat's horrible words, but you were silent about the Republican's horrible words even when you posted the story.

If he had said "burn her at the stakes" or "string her up" I would have condemned such words because that would amount to death by mob without due process in a court of law. Hitlary herself didn't have any problem with Kadafi getting killed by an angry mob and even joked about it, btw.
But he said "Hillary Clinton should be put in the firing line and shot for treason". That sounded like he wanted swift, court martial administered type of justice. He worked in the US Marine Corps for 22 years, which explains why he would use such words to express his contempt for her.

Oh ok. I worked in a senior center as a volunteer for a number of years which explains why I would use the words I used to express my opinion about nature taking its course which got you all riled up.

Nice attempt to co-opt a reasonable explanation for your own bitter and vengeful thoughts. For the record - I wish nature sends gentle, calming, comforting winds in Hitlary's direction.

I see, I see. Saying one hopes nature takes its course is bitter and vengeful, but wishing that a presidential candidate should be put in the firing line and shot is reasonable.

Killing people by firing squad is illegal and unconstitutional.

Besides you didn't condemn the Republican senator who suggested Clinton should be shot, the Republican president who incited violence at his rallies, or the Republican senator who talked about people using their guns against the government. You are simply a hypocrite who pretends to be against violence when you are not.

You are clearly a poseur who pretends to know a lot. You should revisit your election predictions to check how clueless you are. Continue to live in your bubble and ridiculing others.

I was wrong about election prediction. So what?

Killing a civilian by firing squad is illegal and unconstitutional. That is a fact, not a prediction. The UCMJ does not apply to civilians. Citizens are protected by the Constitution against cruel and unusual punishment.

I guess my calling you a hypocrite hurt your feelings. If it did, why don't you consider becoming less hypocritical? It is really easy to condemn the violent talk of Republican senators and predisent. Try it. Or just get comfortable with your hypocrisy to the extent that being called a hypocrite doesn't bother you so much.
