Trump did what most male politicians do(which still doesn't make it appropriate), but the media jumps on it and makes a big controversy out of it. Typical hypocrisy from the libs.

Elisa Lees Muñoz, executive director of the International Women’s Media Foundation, said on Wednesday that she had heard about the episode in passing.


After a transcript of the exchange was read to her over the phone, she said: “Oh, Lord. I wish I could say this is a surprise.”


She said such occurrences were not limited to Mr. Trump, adding that female journalists are frequently called out for their appearance, their hair and the way they dress.

He didn't talk about her behind. So, he wasn't as bad as how he used to be.....

Seriously, society has to evolve. With more women joining the work force, change will come. What people don't realize is that Western civilization is inherently male dominated. It was industrial revolution that brought changes.

In India, the problem is related to "deprivation" and relative isolation of boys and girls. Now that girls are dominating at schools and in jobs, Victorian and Moghul influences will disappear and if someone talks about how a woman looks like, she will show him how powerful her hand can be!

Thanks to the indulgent support of trumptards who blame the media for highlighting his inappropriate behavior, Fat-Man Little-Boy keeps doubling down. Today:

Senator Ben Sasse, Republican: "Please just stop. This isn't normal and it's beneath the dignity of your office."

Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican: "Mr. President, your tweet was beneath the office and represents what is wrong with American politics, not the greatness of America."

I am happy my representative said this:

"I want my GOP colleagues to explain to my 3 granddaughters why they think these viciously sexist comments are acceptable from our President. This isn’t just about Trump. We already knew he has no respect for women. It’s also about the GOP – which continues to defend & support him. When leaders are bullies, it’s an implicit license to others – sexual harassers, white supremacists, islamophobes – to spread their hate. It’s up to everyone to reject this behavior. By not speaking out, my GOP colleagues are complicit in the sexism & bigotry incited by Trump."

May be GoP Leadership wants Trump to make more such mistakes and in the process invite impeachment upon himself. That'll be way better than reining him for each transgression.

Given enough time and the threat of grabbing by the predisent, he will also start blaming the media for highlighting the predisent's comment that he himself thinks is inappropriate.

Why didn't NYT call it "flirting"? Given that the democratic party has a rich history of debauchery by popular Presidents, Obummer making such a remark surely qualifies as flirting.

I didn't make excuses. I am objecting to the use of the word "flirt" by the NYT to describe what he did and not using that word when Obummer did something similar.
