Forbes isn't exactly a liberal rag. It's biggest claim to fame is publishing lists of really rich people, and focuses on business.

According to the numbers, if this bill passes we will inflict on ourselves the equivalent of between five and nine 9/11-sized attacks per year between now and 2026. During those nine years at least 50 times more Americans will die from Trumpcare than were killed by jihadist terrorists in the previous 16 years.

No wonder the Republican supporters on this forum haven't said a word about the most important bill for this Congress, one that affects a sixth of our economy.

Have you noticed how Leper isn't talking about health care at all any more?

He promised he will do better than Obamacare -- cover more people (everyone according to him) at a lower cost, and cover pre-existing conditions. He has said for those who can't afford insurance the government will step in. Everything that happens with healthcare from this point onwards, he owns. If Obamacare is still in place and is doing poorly, that's on him too. He is in charge.

"My first day in office I am going to ask Congress to put a bill on my desk getting rid of this disastrous law and replacing it with reforms that expand choice, freedom and affordability. You are going to have such great healthcare at a tiny fraction of the cost, and it's going to be so easy."

After saying this, he has now retreated into silence. Senators of his own party think he doesn't understand the basics of the replacement bill.

A senator who supports the bill left the meeting at the White House with a sense that the president did not have a grasp of some basic elements of the Senate plan — and seemed especially confused when a moderate Republican complained that opponents of the bill would cast it as a massive tax break for the wealthy, according to an aide who received a detailed readout of the exchange.

He just doesn't understand the most significant provision of the Senate bill!

Beyond Stupid. That's a good summary of a lot of things he does.
