Ok yeah he is dumb, but the danger of persisting with that line of mocking is that it quickly descends into infantilizing. We musn't do that. Infantilization of youngish adult men as a prelude to pardoning them is white privilege. 14 year old black boys don't get that same privilege at the hands of law enforcement.

That's a good point. Being dumb is not a crime, but being dumb doesn't exonerate one from one's crimes either. This entire gang needs to be held accountable for their actions.

It wasn't strategy. New York Times had the emails leaked to them. They told Don Jr. that they would post them at 11 am. So he posted them himself at 11 am and attempted to put the transparency lipstick on the attempted-collusion pig.

I am sure he will do rallies. He needs the adoration of his trumptards to keep going. And they will give it to him in full measure.

I am not following the details and nuances of the Trump Jr and Russia event, explanations and opposition? Is the transgression or treachery on the same lines as Rahul clandestinely meeting Chinese Ambassador OR MS Aiyar publicly requesting Pakistan's help in removing Modi?

I haven't been following the nuances of Indian politics lately. I would say Rahul meeting the Chinese Ambassador clandestinely would be comparable to the clandestine meetings between Russian ambassador Kislyak and Kushner. MS Aiyar publicly asking Pakistan to help remove Modi would be like Trump publicly asking Russia to help find the deleted emails from Clinton's private server. I don't know if there is an exact Indian parallel to Don Jr. and Kushner's meeting with the "Russian government lawyer" who they thought would give them dirt on Clinton.

If that is so, Don Jr. act should be lower on the treachery scale than that of Trump himself. Same goes with MS Aiyar seeking Pakistan's help in dislodging Modi.

I don't know, may be. But the key difference is that MS Aiyar is not the PM candidate who hopes to replace Modi, Trump is the principal, not agent here.
