because songs are played in Tamil.

Makes sense.

If Hindians can walk out of a concert because songs are in Tamil, what should nonHindi states do with Hindi imposing Indian Union?

These disrespectful douchebags have shown that their chauvinism extends even to appreciation of music. Rehman should stop making music for Hindian movies.

Hey it's a free world. They can leave if they want to. And nobody is forcing you to attend hindi concerts or watch hindi movies. In particular nobody is forcing southern Indians to slavishly speak in hindi to Northindians to impress them and to make life easy for them in southern states. Stop doing that and maybe you'll get some respect.

your opposition to hindi is nonsensical in view of the existence of a hindi dialect in South India: Dakhini.

----
Visitors from north India’s Hindi belt are often puzzled by the contradictory signals they get about Hindi in south India. On the one hand, they feel that every one understands them in the street--rikshawalas, shopkeepers, bus conductors and so on. Some of these visitors, like the Ugly American, patronizingly approve that the natives are speaking a tolerably understandable Hindi!...

They fail to understand that the ‘Hindi’ that they hear in the South is actually Dakhni and that it has a much older literary history and in fact was the source of inspiration for modern Hindi to emerge as a literary language. The ‘lingua franca’ of India is not ‘their’ Hindi but the street Hindi that evolved from Dakhni and reached the Indian masses, through the Parsi theatre and the Bombay film industry. It is ‘their’ highly Sanskritized Hindi that is opposed all over the non-Hindi region. In fact, Acharya Suniti Kumar Chattopadhyay, in his article ‘Bharater Rashtra Bhasha Chalti Hindi’ even proposed Bombay Hindi as a national language whose ‘grammar can be written on a post card’!

I myself am opposed to 'sanskritized hindi' but it makes no sense to deprive people from different parts of India of a useful tool to communicate with each other.

Yes, It is perfectly reasonable for Hindians to walk out of the concert in which they are unable to listen to Tamil songs.

I just want the same logic applied to non Hindi states to walk out of the Indian Union due to their languages not being recognized.

Why did Hindians think AR Rehan a Tamil will sing Hindi songs? Arrogance and a sense of entitlement.

The culture of India means Hindi is cultivated by Indian gov for decades,.

"Indian Customers" mean "Hindi Customers" to the Indian Government (by Thanjai Nalankilli),

There are many reports saying he sang a number of Hindi songs. The arrogant Hindian is upset that not all the songs are in Hindi. He would have chose songs from Tamil / Telugu etc. in addition to Hindi.

Regardless, of late I am veering to your view that Indian Union is no good for linguistic equality at the moment, and it is better to work for dismantling it.

From Indian Express

"You might have concluded that there were no Hindi songs performed at the concert. However, this musician is above all that. From “Kun Faya” – one of the most loved compositions to “Patakha Gudi” in Highway, there were quite a few tracks that were performed."
