I watched it twice..and the second time what Matthew McConaughey says made more sense to me and I liked him more:) After all - who can perfectly define or describe faith or God? Since it's a personal journey one has to take on their own with what makes sense to them- may not make any sense to others!

And what a terrible date (imo)..who would want to be on a date discussing God and Science? That's what Places of Worship, Universities, Political programs and Internet forums are for..to go on and on..with NO ONE giving up/changing their views about Science or God -99.9% of the time!

Speaking of dates..would rather have a easy and good time with no philosophical discussions ..and if there must be some kind of back and forth..might as well dance and laugh a lot with each other about silly stuff than at each other about their views!

Kris,

To me Faith is like Love- there is no sophistication..it is simple and child like. That is also what appeals to me about people of great faith..the simplicity in their faith. Think I have said all that I can say on this!

On a lighter note..perhaps I can assume what the bus stop stories are all about..(historic routes of unforgettable romances flower ?)

Yes, I am certainly for avoiding minefields..and sophisticated infatuations:)

I am sure anyone who claims to believe in "God"..if honest, will admit there are real moments of disillusionment and frustration.

That is part of the process/journey, imo.
