laung laachi
from google .... Laung Laachi, a romantic film, is based on husband wife relationship. The film revolves around a strange decision made by a husband and wife who decide to live as strangers. The husband must then whatever possible to win her love back. To find out if he succeeds in winning her back or do they remain estranged forever, watch Laung Laachi.
Punjabi film. At one point i was starting to get bored, but around interval the plot picked up and all the scenes until now began making sense, so all that was not a waste of time. Wouldn't call it a great film, but it will keep that smile on your face for the most part.... simple story, cute endearing couple, just about adequate drama..

young, newlyweds. Actually the synopsis above is slightly misleading, maybe that's i was a little bored. So i will add my little info that's hopefully not a spoiler.
the guy (god what was his name) marries very beautiful Laachi who he thinks is way above his league, as she's not only pretty but also an ace singer/dancer/artist/homemaker. They start a cute new married life until one day she confesses that she had always dreamed of falling in love before marriage. An alien concept in rural Punjab apparently. So she suggests that they begin role playing where they are strangers and he's trying to woo her, and he has to make her fall in love with him. So they start that, a bit childishly too, and soon they are living a parallel fantasy, building their love story along, alongwith living their real life...
I liked it coz it had decent comedy. I think some of the comedy was lost to me in translation, coz even though I could understand Punjabi a little bit, and read the subtitles, probably the full cultural background was lost on me, coz while from the actors' body language I could sense it's something lethal, and it was matched by the sardarjis sitting next to me doubling over with laughter in many scenes, i was at times lost. But whatever I could get, it really was funny.

Aargh, the fkkin disease in women to fall in love. And the idea of falling in love.
Flash News: Without Truth, Selflessness, Unconditional Love. You Can NOT. Guess what, while most women "WANT" love, they lack all of these qualities. They seek a prince who will give his kingdom for love, but no princess does. Not today.
Women seek honesty and truth, but they disqualify as a man's best friend.
Regards.
