And the govt. in Delhi tells private airlines pilots to not speak in Tamil or Malayalam? Smile

The pilot can speak in Chinese if there are Chinese passengers and the pilot/airlines wishes to. 

Most educated (not all) know that a group of people with camera have the power to influence the gullible.

There are idiots who believe everything on YouTube/Internet and social media. US got the current President through those idiots.

Hindi colonial government in Delhi mandates the use of Hindi in all flights. Even for a flight from Chennai to Coimbatore (both cities in TN) one does not hear safety announcements in Tamil. Same case for all other languages. 

A simple rule change that mandates the use of local languages or languages spoken at origin / destination can solve the problem.

For SI: here is a government minister stating that the central policy is announcements in Hindi and English only. He also stated that he doesn't know there is a problem when the problem is pointed out to him, and they received complaints in 2015 and 2016.

I beleive him that he diod not there is a problem. Many educated and uneducvated Hindians think everyone should know Hindi and if not that is their problem.
