The flawed thing about the political system in India is that even nearly after seven decades of Indian Constitution (since 1950) the political parties / alliances taking part in the parliamentary elections still don't officially declare beforehand (prior to the elections) the names of their respective potential Govt. leaders (prime ministerial candidates), which denies the voters the opportunity to properly evaluate, scrutinize, and compare against each other the officially declared prime ministerial candidates before casting their votes in favor any particular political party / alliance, thus the country ending up with the possibility that the next prime minister (Govt. leader) could even be someone entering through the backdoor (having not even run in the parliamentary election, won a seat as M.P. in Lok Sabha and faced the voters as a prime ministerial candidate).
