Between S. K. Mahati, a 9 or 10-year old girl from Calicut, Kerala, singing Carnatic, and a seasoned musician singing Hindustani. It's a lot of fun seeing a child matching wits with a seasoned singer from another system.

This girl (now a teenager) sang outstanding Bhairavi recently during the Carnatic singing competition on the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel. The judges who interrupt all the contestants with questions, did not interrupt this girl at all and just enjoyed her rendition of Swati Tirunal's Bhairavi composition. The only advice they had for her was -- listen to Dk Pattammal's bhairavi again and again to gain new insights.

it sounded as if both the singers were out of tune.
