what's that weird stopping motion ashwin does before some deliveries? at the last delivery stride he sort of holds back before releasing the ball. is that the carrom ball? if so he is not hiding it well.

I've not watched much of Ashwin's bowling.. here is an interesting comment from Cricinfo's commetary

"Imran: "@Aabhas I've noticed Ashwin's action change significantly in test matches - when he starts getting hit for a lot of runs, he does away with cocktail-mixing thing he normally has going on and bowls like a normal off-spinner. You can't manufacture a bit of mystery" "
