Baugh caught him napping.

brilliant stumping off of Shiv's bowling.

frustrating batting by indians instead of going for the kill.

Chanderpaul to Laxman,
OUT,
VVS has managed to get stumped after leaving a wide delivery, fancy that
for a freakish dismissal, he had just ambled back after leaving the
ball and the back foot was in the air for just an instant, just
an instant, and that was enough for an alert Baugh to whip off the
bails, Laxman looked surprised when West Indies appealed and even more
so when the third umpire ruled him out, Chanders is mobbed by his
team-mates, he is grinning broadly, 9th wicket in 133 Tests, he'll take
it

Are not you happy he is out? He was batting damn too slow wasting so many balls and scoring almost nothing. At this point of match what we need is a typical Kapil innings - a quick fire 50 or 80 and put WI back into batting and remove 3 wickets before stumps are drawn.

With rain playing spoil sport every 10 minutes, there is no time to waste if they want to win. I do not think Dhobi gets it.

yeah.. Laxman batted too slowly. He kept hitting straight to fielders as he is wont to do when the pitch is too slow and not bouncy. Kohli was pushing the RR up but got out playing down the legside again.

Raina should play a fast innings to get the lead around 100 by the end of the day.

This match won't pick up steam till tomorrow Tea time. Dhobi does not want any risks to lose the 1-0 advantage. He is on the defensive. I predict a draw unless WI collapses dramatically in the second innings.

Watching it at home in India - WFH - Laxman was truly napping; Dhoni's working haaard to not get out. Raina is now starting to play his shots.

I think Windies should now wrap up the Chanderpaul experiment - it's paid dividends. Will just keep leaking runs and batsmen get more confident...
