Still in police custody. Goan cops will still be investigating this when you next check in 2018. Tejpal's only option now is to fall at that girl's feet, grovel and beg her to withdraw her charges. And pray!

Why is the story now dead in Indian media?
On a different note, it does seem someone is killing any Devyani related news in the NY Times.

The only interest in the Tejpal story was of his humiliating fall. Once that happened, everyone lost interest.
