Times is now asking the question I had - how did Martoma get into Stanford business school after the Harvard expulsion?

Normally, that kind of pressure question would force a college to do a cya and blame it on the false declarations in the app. But this is Stanford, so all bets are off. Sure to cause red faces if there was influence-peddling.

you have to wait for uppili to return (from india?) to answer any questions about ivy league schools and people prone to business malfeasance.
