24 more years to live? Empty 24 more years to live?

Post by TruthSeeker Thu Mar 06, 2014 12:54 am

Of course, none of us are living forever.

I give myself another 24 years, a random number - could be 1 or 30?

But the fact is - I will die.

Lets say, after 24 years.

Last 14 years of my life will be in medicine, hospitals, kids marital problems (if they marry), and so on.

So, effectively, I have only 10 years of my active life left.

Oh SHYT! :-)

What do I want to do, when I am still active and healthy?

Next 18 months could be my last chance to jump out of a plane in a 'chute.

Strange, but makes u wonder.

Personally, I plan to visit every corner of this planet, before I leave it.

randomly important musings,
TS.

You don't need to travel anywhere to seek your true self. Once you find your self, the other stuff becomes unimportant. In fact, even the remaining years become unimportant. Unkil.

To Merlot - May you find courage to reveal merely your marital status, than worrying about me finding my "self" :-)

To Guest - I am 44. Tickets to Alaska are booked, plan for Paris/Italy later this year. I am serious about visiting this planet, now onwards.

To rawemotions - I miss hashie. You are sweet. Thanks. You should share your raw emotions as well :-)

To Rekz - I would probably kick it like a soccer ball. Dunno why. But thanks for the thought.

Best wishes to all of you,
TS.

None of you responded for yourself, irrespective of how many years of active years you think you have left - What are your plans?

Thanks for sharing,
TS.

We often think that we derive more knowledge by traveling the world outside but seldom do we dare to or take the time to explore the world within us, thereby losing touch with the magic of who we are.

Random musing ... (-:

I watched Mary Kom, that boxer's movie today, in theater. One thing I realized was that "focus" is most important. If a human wants "A", then "FOCUS" on "A". Dont lose the focus.

A man, duti-bound to wife/kids, is LOST in "Prioritizing", not "Focus".

Thats why I honestly Q to ALL the Philosophers in this world - Mr. Lama, Mr. Vivekananda, Mr. Paramahansa, Mr. Tukarama, <Ms. Mirabai, Mr. Mahatma Gandhi himself!

None of these folks did shyt for any of their kids, if they were married and had any (most didnt, but just preached. on human life without having a wife or kids?)

They are ALL Useless.

At least as far as I am concerned.

I need a "Guru", who was married, had kids, did NOT abandon them, and then learnt the meaning of life?

Sad part is - NOT EVEN ONE exists, in human history!

Regards,
TS

As far as parenting is concerned, your guru is right at home TS. Your kids. Who else can guide you better on how to raise them. Take cues from them and customize your parenting accordingly.

About other things, well. Follow the laws of your country and developed high sense of empathy.

Atleast that's what I do.

Are you the unkil now or are you calling TS "Unkil"?

@Kiddo -

Kids teaching parents how to raise them? :-) Oh well, its a truth I cannot deny. Parents learn from kids as they grow, while parents stay static in their thinking, as to how to raise them.

But raising kids is the purpose of my life?

Regards,
TS.

23 years now. To live more.

Visit to Alaska - Checked!

No wonder people make New Year Resolutions!

More Power to them, and to ALL of us.

Best wishes,
TS.
