A case was registered against Raja Tiwari and his accomplice Sachin Sharma, also resident of the same are. Police said Raja was a listed goon with more than 12 criminal cases against him. He was externed from the district a couple of months ago, they said. Raids were carried out at Bhopal and other places for Tiwari and Sharma.

U must understand that Brahmins are 10% of UP's population whereas they are 3% of TN's population. Further the total UP population is a little less than thrice the total TN population.

The biggest mafia don of UP used to be Hari Shankar Tiwari. (I am not sure if this continues to be the case since he is now fairly old, in his seventies.) Tiwari is also a double PhD--in history and political science.
