the reboot of the times magazine section is featuring this guy prominently. apparently, he is the greatest contemporary writer in norway. what an utter bore!

it's good work if you can get it -- get paid to grow a beard, smoke some cigarettes, drink some beer, and have someone drive you around random locales with the end expectation that you produce some pointless drivel that they'll publish in the times magazine section.

there are a few aspiring writers on this chat board who are far more entertaining that the times ought to consider hiring for a piece.
