Everyone forgot about the rape victim and that the lynching was carried out by school and college girls, nor does anyone understand the anger and lack of faith in the judiciary punishing the accused swiftly (look at the Delhi rap case).

Instead Assam is on a warning to prevent "riots" (muslims supporting the illegal Bangladeshi lynching). If they are expected to support a fellow muslim and not a fellow Indian, why cant the hindus look through their religious glasses? Now it is all about the lynching...

of course, I dont expect the armchair cowards to comment bcz that might anger the muslims.

The Nagaland government has conveyed to the Centre that Syed Sarif Khan, who was lynched by a mob in Dimapur last week, did not rape the girl who accused him of assaulting her but they had consensual sex twice.

In a report to the Home Ministry, the State government said Khan had given a statement to police after his arrest on February 24 that he had paid Rs 5,000 to the alleged rape victim after they had sex twice.

According to the report, Khan had also told police that the girl went with him on her free will and had demanded more money from him after the sexual encounters which he had refused. A First Information Report was filed soon after.
