Agree 403%. Jobs and economic development are an evil capitalist conspiracy to destroy the environment. God's own people i.e. the ones who haven't emigrated to the Middle East to work as plumbers and welders should be grateful for the lack of jobs and economic opportunities - this saves them from the work-related stresses and gives them plenty of time to admire the beauty of god's own country.

Yeah and the corporates are actually altruists whose sole aim is to better the lot of the poor left-behind non-plumbers. This will definitely not see an influx of job seekers from everywhere else. We can also turn a blind eye to the high literacy rates in the state and economic choices. Progress is only having luxury malls at every street corner.
