Mitt Romney's statements in Israel
1. Sluggish Palestinian economy is plagued more by "cultural" differences than by the strictures of the decades-old Israeli occupation. When reporters pressed on what he meant by "culture," he simply delined to answer.
2. GDP per capita in Israel in $21,000 and in Palestinian territories is $10,000 (World Bank number s are - $31,000 vs. $1600).
3. You notice a dramatic stark difference in economic vitality that is also between other countries that are next to each other - U.S and Mexico, Chile and Equador (he earned good friends in Mexico next door).
This guy starts to sound like Bush Jr. in saying wrong things at the wrong places, and like Reagan when he makes up numbers extempore.
