సీతమ్మ వాకిట్లో సిరిమల్లె చెట్టు.

Seen this film yesterday. My first telugu film in theaters in 15 months. I was expecting an overtly sentimental, MCP genre cinema.
2 main characters were well written. They dont do anything out of character. I've not seen that in many telugu films. Yea, it is a preachy film, acting was terrible and had a few WTF scenes. But worth a watch with low expectations.

"మిథునం" సినిమా చూసేరా? ఛూసినవాళ్ళు చాలా బాగుంది అన్నారు. తనికెళ్ళ భరణి తీసేడు. మా వూళ్ళో ఇలా వచ్చి అలా వెళ్ళిపోయింది. నాకు చూడడం పడలేదు.

చూడలేదండీ! ఎక్కడైనా దొరుకుతుందేమో చూడాలి. నేను కధ చదివాను, కధ నాకంతగా నచ్చలేదు కాని కధనం చాలా నచ్చింది. Trailer బ్రాహ్మణ nostalgic చిత్రంగా అనిపించింది. కానీ చూస్తాను. The film seems to have some serious food porn, that alone may be worth it.
నాకు భరణి సిరా(short film) చాలా నచ్చింది.

I saw SVSC this past weekend. This is the second week for the movie and surprisingly the 400 capacity theatre was full. I liked the movie, I should say. No half-naked girl dancing leading a football team of gyrating dancers, no hero dancing with disabled beggar steps, no skinny guy beating up 20 muscular goons defying gravity, no double meaning songs, no double meaning dialogues. Just a neat movie you can watch with your family. It's high ime. I liked Mahesh Babu and Anjali, but unfortunately they were not paired up. Also Anjali's accent didn't really sound "Godavari;" it sounded more "Vizag." For example, her refrain throughout the movie --- "naa-kala telsi-potund-ante" sounds pure Vizag. Pure Godavari would be more like -- "naa-kalaa telisi potundi adante." Finally, the movie appeared to end abruptly.
