indian (mostly malayali) women have consistently done well at the asian games. by contrast indian men have little to show at these games. they've fallen just short of winning at the olympics. if india spends a fraction of the revenues it receives from the garish IPL tournaments on track and field, builds training facilities and hires coaches who have had success in the olympics, i am sure these girls can break the olympic barrier. they sure have the physical prowess, determination, and talent.
