Ya, i didn't pay attention to the lyrics of the song until i watched an interview with Sirivennela Sitarama Sastri. He was showering all praises on Devi Sri Prasad for writing this song. He said the first time he heard the song, he liked it so much that he called DSP immediately to express his appreciation and congratulated him. He was like, 'who could ever think of something like, 'Gunnulanti kannulunna junnulanti pilla...' He was all praises to the rest of the song too, the maatala koorpu, the funny expressions and all.
It was then that i paid attn to its lyrics and they indeed are damn good.

sitaramaiah must be getting demented if he thought those were nice lyrics.
prasad must've noticed that "gunnu" rhymes with "junnu" and stuck together that particular line.
i just made up a line that rhymes too: bunnulanti bummu-unna baathulanti pilla. you like?
stuff like that is not poetry, it is more like the retarded stuff that some uneducated cabbies in new york listen to.
