On the contrary, he has to and must if others are calling him dishonest.

Just because a crook defames you with lies does not mean you sit idle and do nothing about it while thinking that these lies don't relate to you and won't cause harm to you and your reputation; a lie repeated multiple times becomes truth.

There is nothing wrong in showing off your honesty, smartness and other good qualities if you can do that.

As they say, flaunt it if you got!
