Haven't followed the news, but why is Donny Orange suddenly jetting off to Paris?

I love the optics always.

Just caught a short clip of a press conference in a cafeteria of Trump and Macron in Paris. Trump looks tired, disheveled, and when talking about his son, frightened and dispirited. As he would say, SAD!

English: I didn't know that. I don't want to come across as ignorant, so I am going to do what I do best and make the mistaken claim that a lot of people didn't know it either.

Many examples bear this out: GOP is the party of Lincoln, healthcare is complicated, France is our oldest ally.

I think Merkel and Macron are playing bad cop, good cop. Macron is trying to charm Leper because he knows the US-Europe relationship is too old and too important to be allowed to degrade in one unpopular and incompetent presidency.
