At least in India, the maids can protest and even bring their friends and families to engage in violence against their employers. They have rights.

Compare this with the physical, sexual and emotional abuse the treatment the women from Phillipines, Sri Lanka and India receive from their employers in the Middle East.

Don't ask. Don't tell. NY Times has a way of sensationalizing events in India. And the blow it out of proportion like a Red October is underway in India.

NYT attitude towards India I agree, but lately that's been far less absorbing than the carnival that's the USA and its chief barker. 

Regardless the Madams'b behavior is so Trumpian in its essence.
