శ్రీకాళహస్తిమహత్మ్యం లోవి రెండు మంచి పాటలు.

"మహేశా పాపవిమోచా" బాగా జనాదరణ పొందింది, కాని నాకు "మధురము శివ మంత్రం" చాల ఇష్టం. మంచి రాగమాలిక. సాహిత్యం లో శివుడిని refer చేస్తున్నప్పుడు సంస్కృతం, తనని తాను refer చేసుకుంటున్నప్పుడు తెలుగు ఉంటాయి.

భావజ సంహారా - నను కావగ రావయ్యా; ఆగమ సంచారా - నా స్వాగతమిదె గొనుమా, లాంటివి.

Here is the same "madhuramu Sivamantram" song by Tejaswini, a 'Padutha teeyaga" contestent (the first link).

The second link is her singing "venuvai vacchaanu bhuvanaaniki, gaalinaipoyanu gaganaaniniki." SPB said (at the end) that she outperformed the original singer Chitra on that one.

చిత్ర పై స్వరాలలో కీచు చేసి బాధ పెడుతుంది. చాలా బాగా పాడింది ఆ అమ్మాయి!

అన్నట్టు తనికెళ్ళ భరణి మంచి పండితుడండీ. 2 ఏళ్ళ క్రితం బే ఏరియా వచ్చినప్పుడు వెళ్ళాను. చాలా బాగా మాట్లాడాడు.

I agree Chitra has that problem. If you listen to her "bharatavedamuna" song from Pournami, she was not only jarring on the high notes, but murdered the sahityam too. For example, for adri-jaata paarvati (Parvati that's the mountain's daughter), she sang atri-jaata paarvati (Parvati that's Atri's daughter:-). There are some other funny boo-boos in the song. Anyway enough of Chitra.
ఆ అమ్మాయి (Tejaswini) పాడిన ఇంకొక మంచి పాట, fun song.. అంటే పరీక్ష కి వెళ్ళేముందు వినాయకుడికి serious ప్రార్థన అన్నమాట. Her impeccable diction is so pleasing on the ear.
