The problem is not necessarily with Christianity and Islam. It is more to do with corrupt politicians (who most likely don't follow any religion) who cater to (ars-lick) vote-banks. Hopefully, the vote-banks get educated, get jobs and then put the SOBs where they belong. In the name of democracy, these crooks have been destroying the country and society. I remember how they all reacted when Anna Hazare was agitating against corruption. They all talked through the rear end that "parliament was supreme". In other words, they are not willing to do the right thing and they collude to block any attempts at eradicating corruption.
