I hadn't!

Congrats Hindus, congrats Sonia, congrats Sachin, etc.

Seriously, the chart shows a stronger correlation between percentage of college graduates and percentage with income over $75k than I would have expected. The only exceptions to that trend are Buddhists and Unitarians; I wonder why.

The visual is great and all that...just reminded of Tufte's excellent book and use of 'meaningful' colors - absolutely no need in this graph to use a color orgy.

Re. data, I would have liked to see absoute numbers in addition to percentages, and some top-end incomes; also data on hybrid households.

*I did not know that about wealthy Hindu brothers and sisters!

But I did have a good idea about Jewish brothers and sisters and how the order was among Christians- I know we Episcopalians beat out Catholic and Pentecostal brothers and sisters. And knew that most Muslim brothers and sisters were in the lower income bracket.

I was expecting the data to include non-believers in the list. Probably they were not surveyed/questioned?

They may (or may not) be included in the group labeled secular. It is always difficult to survey small minorities like nonbelievers, particularly in a society where that group's members are viewed with suspicion.

I miss Recycled Soul. even though ashdoc sounds like a more conservative version of RS.

Not very accurate. When they have stated the Christian and jewish denominations, the Hindus also should be categorised as ST/SC, Tambrahm, Goundar, FC, OBC, Ward 5, 7, 8, 9,and 9a.
