Four Aussie players axed on disciplinary grounds
I guess there is more to this than meets the eye. Wonder what can a player, who is yet to play a test in this series, say about improving his performance. This is one of the reasons why Clarke will never be a good captain.
After the loss inside three and a half days, Arthur asked every member of the squad to let him know three points on how their individual performances and those of the team could be improved.

Hahaha! I liked Damien Martyn's reaction to Coach's comment, that was hilarious yet so true.
""I wanted three things - a lot of guys came to my room and did a
presentation, a few guys have written fantastic emails, some guys put
notes under my door, it was their preference" - Coach Mickey Arthur
"To many wrong people are picked for jobs who give a fancy presentation!!" - Former Australia batsman Damien Martyn

May be this is an off-shoot of his process. This getting hilarious by hour, self-inflicted though, subjected themselves to derision; Everyone is tweeting on this, especially pommies (ex-players) seems to be enjoying this thoroughly.

This is hilarious at best. That is the job of a coach to come up with 3 points to improve individual and the team's performance.
The coach is, therefore, devoid of any creativity or coaching abilities. He is the one who should be on the plane back to Australia. Johnson, Pattinson, Kwaja and Watson - wait.. thot these are the 4 that even doing something for the team.
Australia can use Sehwag, Gambhir, Ojha, and Harbhajan instead of the 4 sent back.

Clarke was behind the ouster of Andrew Symonds too and now he has kicked out 4 players at once. He should learn to take defeats in his stride and not throw his players under the bus after a couple of losses.

He was part of the disciplinary committee that took the decision to kick out Symonds for breach of discipline during 20-20 WC 2009. He had some altercation with Symonds prior to that. Also, Clarke and Simon Katich had a dressing room fight as well.

Re: Four Aussie players axed on disciplinary grounds
so you absolve everything that AS did and hold Clarke responsible for AS' ouster. What does being on a cmte and taking a decision have to do with anything personal?

Re: Four Aussie players axed on disciplinary grounds
although symond's ouster is understandable (he came to nets absolutely sloshed and went fishing and pig-hunting while the team meeting was on), katich's ouster was unnecessary. and yes, clarke played a significant role in the katich episode. well, he only hurt himself in the foot with that move. AUS opening pair is struggling ever since katich went out.

***************News Flash*****************
Four Indian Team members - SRT, Pujara, Vijay and Ashwin have been dropped and suspended from the team for participating in a peer review meeting and discussing methods to improve the team performance, contrary to the culture of the Great Indian Cricket in which BCCI decides what is good for the team.
The fans applaud this action.
