quite an eccentric character - a hypochondriac who refused to go to hospitals because he thought they were full of germs. he did not go see his mom when she was at the hospital for this reason and felt terribly guilty after she died for neglecting her. he was most likely autistic - makes me wonder if most geniuses fall in the autistic spectrum.
