True Story
There was a lonely man(about 55+) who lived in the apartment above mine. He was an ex-con who had gone to prison for 6-8 years for running a meth lab. One day I came back from work and saw a cop car and an ambulance. A stretcher was brought out and his body was taken away. He was dead for a day or 2 when they found him I think. He had od'd on some drug - he was addicted to narcotics having started taking painkillers for his injuries. He had stopped going to work for months and was just sitting at home, late on rent payments and served with an eviction notice.

How come the landlord did not bother to meet the tenant about missed payments of rent?
If the woman had owned the apartment, how is that the city or state did not take posession of the place for delinquent taxes?
