hey saamiyaar -- are you confused by the term babus? babus are people like my ancestors (and probably yours) who slave their entire lives for the army, the state govt, or the central govt, or whatever piddly little government department or agency, lead principled lives, who feel proud of the work they do fighting wars, ameliorating poverty, administering family planning initiatives, serving as physicians in places no sane person would, and helping farmers; who scrape and scrape on a govt salary, living straight as arrow lives, and hoping that their kids can get ahead by their own smarts, because god knows they have nothing else going for them. i am quite sure khobragade and her clan are NOT one of them.
