Sad to hear this news. Generally these lover boy kind of heroes have a short shelf life. Look at the careers of Tarun, Raja ( of Anand fame) etc. Not just in telugu industry. Look at where Arvind swamy ( of Roja,Bombay not the Sulekha fame) is now. Only those heroes getting a mass image survive in the long run ( Ravi teja , jr NTR) even if they get some flops periodically.

From what I heard, except Mahesh Babu's family, the other filmy dynasties of the Telugu industry rule with an iron fist - promoting their family heirs at any cost(controlling theaters, using media to drum up publicity,etc) and by crushing any non dynastic person who seems like a threat.

How did Chennai to Hyderabad migration of industry create or consolidate caste based institutions in the industry? Also, why did the powerful (numbers, money and political influence wise) Reddy & Raju communities not continue to make a mark in the industry even though there were stalwarts from the early years viz. B N Reddy, D V S Raju etc.?
 
Lastly, hopefully this ‘Arun Kumar’ isn’t that Vundavalli Arun Kumar guy. How does he expect the HRC to establish culpability and offer grievance/redress? Too many guys out to grab opportunities to enter media.

Is UK a Brahmin?! His last name (from Wiki) implies so. However, if I remember the gossip mills from 2003, one of the reasons for alliance break up with Chiru's family was he claiming to be a Brahmin but turning out to be Naayi Brahmin (mangali).

Telugu movie industry & all the theatres in the state are controlled by just 2 (may be 3) , Allu Aravind, Ramanayudu and Dil Raju to some extent. No producer, I mean no producer can release a movie without these guys blessings. Dasari vented out many times that these are not the days for small producers/movies and this trend not at all good for the industry.
