Should Psychos be banned from flying? Empty Should Psychos be banned from flying?

Post by Marathadi-Saamiyaar Sun Mar 16, 2014 1:28 pm

Psychiatrists claim mental illness is just another condition and under medication they should be treated like any other normal people - with other med condition.

But, really...when a patient forgets to take medicine for any condition only the patient is at risk, except in the case where Psychiatric patients forgetting to take drugs.

Psychos should be banned from flying planes. Period.

Pilots have to get a physical exam and doctor certificate every year. Just like the military, FAA can bar those diagnosed with mental illness of whatever kind - under treatment presently or treated in the past.

Nope... even if the Jetliner is found, FAA should institute this restriction. it is not like there wont be any future hijackings by wackos....

Just like the manufacturers are likely to review their communication system on the plane arising out of the MH370 issue.

That's one plausible theory floating around, a stronger one at that. If stricter measures were taken to ban pilots with psychological problems, then no doubts would've been even raised in that direction. But then again, a momentary dejection for life could be triggered by any event in life, after the psycho screenings.

But they haven't proved yet that the pilot is the cause for this plane's "disappearance".

that's one of the theories going around, that someone in the cockpit knew what they were doing. They shut off the communication systems one after the other, changed the direction of the plane, flew for more than 5 hrs after the communication is lost, were skillful to dodge the radar systems and possibly flew it to a remote location and disappeared.

But remember the Pilots are muslims and they don't do such things as they are (always) mentally strong due to daily Koran readings.

Ya, now I understand why ppl are getting all twisted at even a suggestion of that theory! The pilots are MUSLIMS! Sorry folks. That was a mistake on the ones who are speculating that possibility. No, it's not a terrorist act, it's not the pilots' intentional act either. Heck...the flight 370 did not even exist! It's all bogus!

Like Bill Maher said "...and muslims can't even take a joke." Notice that he did not specify hindus in his video maher must be a closet kafir.

An investigation has to look at all angles and look at everything suspiciously, not to mention profiling. Everyone investigating MH 370 in any Govt (except malaysia) is thinking what I have been thinking form the beginning but are not saying for so called political correctness.

BTW, one with a phobia will try to avoid thinking talking about or dealing with anything related to that Phobia...

So that label does not apply to me....Razz

all angles should be explored but one in particular appeals to you. look at the title of this thread. the facts as we know it is that this pilot has had three decades of experience with this airline. the copilot was a younger guy with less experience.

I was talking to a Hyderabadi friend recently and he said the same thing. He said Hindus tend to be softer and get depressed easily but Muslims are stronger mentally and don't bend in the face of difficulties.

Give the poor conquered woman a break. After her life-changing post-8pm encounter with some Muslims, she's entitled to a lifetime of whining and venting, and cursing all Muslims and their religion.

Now that you are back, I have a feeling that MH 370 will finally be located....Maulana, your pals in Tora Bora really did a more thorough job this time.

already this news item today is looking at the same angle that I mentioned 5 days back....I gave the reasons given the timing of signals and the clear absence of logic to fly the plane to the Indian Ocean just to drown the plane.

Now the iSlamophobists like MAX can try to "establish" facts in 6 months.
