I wonder if 18 and 21 were too old for marriage and $%# in the 7th century. :-)

Instead of coming up with such convoluted explanations, why don't the faithful blame the pagan culture of the day for what Dr. PBUH had done? He was after all, following the local customs. His inventions like taking a "temporary" wife while punishing kafirs and infidels on his pilgrimages are, however, original and legendary.

In the same way, the Afghan gentleman, the Balochi grandfather and the Zambian guy can blame the goat, the boy and the hen on pre-existing cultures.

They all should learn from Moses and put the blame on non-believers for all bad things in the world.
