Even as Muslims rallied behind non-BJP options en bloc, they were overwhelmed by the Hindu upper caste and OBC consolidation.

While about two out of every five Muslims voted for the Congress in this election, upper-caste support for the BJP was one out of two.

When Christians/muslims of various castes vote enbloc why cant the hindus ? Where is the breakdown of castes among voters of other religions?

Caste-wise surveys should be banned, and any study based on caste classification should be outlawed.

Why are we blaming other religions for the flaws of Hindu religion.

Yes this data should not be made available to anybody. CBN started this trend in A.P in mid '90s i.e. selecting candidates based on caste equations of the constituency not based on merit.
