nadal had an embarrassing defeat and so am pretending that wimbledon isn't on but this news item caught my eye.

there's a scottish kid in my kid's class who pointedly and deliberately refuses to call american football, football and insists on referring to it as rugby. i find it hilarious.

She is practically American having moved to the US at a very early age. Why should she care about cricket? And in a few years new Indian cricket fans won't care for the dinosaur either.
