she beams every once in a while
reading something on her phone
the kind of smile that doesn't fade
long after she has turned off the phone
the kind that comes up inexplicably
when she is alone walking down the hall
the kind that brightens up her face
the moment she hears her phone ring
the kind that just stays there
while she puts on her fancy earrings
she doesn't tell you the reason
doesn't tell if she has a secret
what is causing the warmth on her face
who is making her smile

If she tells you the reason..
Something will be lost in that magical season..
No need to explain..mention that name which makes her smile..
Let her face beam..light up at least for awhile!

Walking down the hall is fine..walking down the street..smiling and lost in the magic, can be more hazardous! Have to watch out for people and light poles Smile

And hope the person (s) of interest-infatuation is/are not like Christian Grey..as in Fifty shades of Grey. I suppose women who like BDSM are going to flock to the movie and it's going to be a mega hit..watched the stars and trailer on the Today show..weak and rather unimpressive.

On a serious note..nice lines, Tracy.

So much loss and suffering..all around us, and around the world (difficult to even watch the war news- try to tune it out)..feel jaded, self-centered, muted, powerless..Apathy and disinterest are not good things, esp. for people like me..who have to juggle a lot and function well, when we feel motivated and our energy levels are high.

I read all the three 50 shades last summer inspite of myself. There was something gripping about the books, whether you are into BDSM or not (or you are into it but only some flavors of it), and even if it took bolliwoodish turns in the plotline. And who knew that I would be learning a couple of techniques too that I didn't fully know all these years. Wink

Too late in the game though, *sigh*

Usually when I have read a book, I don't watch the movie. Hate seeing my imaginations shattered. I can still read a book after the movie, to know more.
