weekend of movies

watched 3 movies so far on netflix.
1 - honey i shrunk the kids. we had forgotten it, and I realized son likes to watch old famous movies. Loved it. He loved it too, except wasn't a fan of some of the animal animations.
2 - mr bean on holiday. son loved it even more. what was interesting to see was to see how he laughed through the movie on slapstick humor, as well as humor that I didn't first think he would understand.
older slept thru both, in her room. she didn't even know it, nor would she care.
3 - sex, lies, and videotape. this i watched alone while they all were out. interesting movie. must have been big for the late 80s. liked the performances, and understood the characters, but wished the psychology was done in more depth. seemed too simply made for the topic it was dealing with. eventually, didn't feel a connection with it. although it will disturb me for half a day, while I try to think of those depths myself.

I plan to do that tomorrow. So tired of work n Ghar. But now my new house looks picture perfect! Worked very hard on it today. Tomorrow I relax n watch moofies 
Praying it rains this year. My house will look very beautiful when it rains outside n I have a nook where I can sit n drink hot chocolate n read sth romantic while it pours outside.
Also bcz I got new rainy shoes with butterflies n really cute.

I liked Sex Lies & Video tape except for the ending. It was way too simplistic & Hollywood.

cool. watching Mardani? friends say it's good. XH don't wanna go. 3 weeks ago i had said we should watch 100-foot journey, he didn't want to go too. but now he does and i don't. ugh. i miss the times when i would pick up and go watch a movie by myself. Actually, i can still do that but am just lazy these days.

after a lot of back and forth, watched Benchwarmers. Ugh. Only son enjoyed it. No more movies for him today. Actually, ideally no more for me too. Today dedicated to household chores.

well, while xh and older slept upstairs, son kept pestering to put one more movie on. he wanted to watch one with soccer. after a couple of non starters, started The Big Green. Initially he got bored with that too and wanted to change. Told him to shut it and watch.
Typical feel good formula movie. Nothing specially really. You knew exactly how it will go. He still enjoyed it thoroughly, and actually got involved in it.
I am so done with movies though.

xh wanted to go out for a movie, or watch Mud at home. Son was like, 'mommy why are we not watching any movie today'. I said I am done for this weekend.
