Nothing like that. He simply said that they should ask the president,seated next to him, to hold it. It was an act of courtesy and politeness.

Yes. I posted the picture just to show that he has no problem with holding a mace. Notice he is smiling in the picture I posted. In the video you posted he did not want to hold the mace because the president was sitting next to him and he thought the honor of holding the mace should go to the president.

At least she is holding what she was requested to hold. Why did NaMo refuse to wear a skull cap even though he has no problem with wearing the most outlandish head gear ( like tribal head gear)?
