i am not sure i understand your point. are you saying that the manual night soil carriers of india, the people who manually have to wade through human waste are doing a job that is comparable to the people in your post?

you are traveling in a train in india. some moron shits outside the toilet and the shit is littered on the floor (happens frequently even in AC compartments) What do you do? Call the TC and request for it to get cleaned or refuse to have anyone clean it coz it's a dirty job? or will you clean it yourself? The scavengers are doing a lot of good to the society.
